What is Veolia’s offering?

Veolia offers collection, transfer and disposal services for this stream, and the details around which equipment would be best suited to your needs can be found here.

Veolia advises all clients to undergo a site waste assessment prior to their selection of equipment and schedules to receive best value for our services.

Why should you separate commingled from your general waste?

Separating your commingled waste, which is essentially a broader term to describe every day recyclables, will enable you to contribute to the circular economy through landfill diversion.

Once collected, Veolia or one of our sorting partners will use various technologies to pre-screen and manually separate this commingled waste into viable streams that will enable their reuse in new manufacturing processes.  For example, we can send the separated plastic waste from the commingled stream to our partners, who then can reuse the material to create new products with two-thirds of the energy required in a normal process.
