Veolia’s composting process
Food and garden organics are collected from council kerbside green bins, businesses, transfer stations, and public drop off. Once collected, the organic materials are delivered to Veolia’s organic resource recovery facilities where they are decontaminated, shredded, pasteurised, and turned into nutrient-rich soil conditioners, mulches, and composts which make up the Vitagro range.
Veolia currently processes and manufactures Vitagro compost products in NSW, VIC and WA only.
