At Veolia, we're passionate about clean water, recycling waste, and renewable energy, which is why our team of 7,000 people are committed to protecting our lands, our waterways, and marine wildlife.
Our job is simple: to clean up, reuse, and purify.
Together with Taronga Conservation Society Australia, we want to take action to inspire everyone to keep our oceans free from waste.
To raise awareness, we’ve partnered with Australian artist David Day to create a powerful sea turtle installation, crafted entirely from ocean waste. Fishing nets, ship debris, and discarded packaging have been transformed into a statement piece - a powerful reminder of the devastating impact of plastic pollution has on marine life.
Join the cleanup challenge: Protecting waterways, one beach at a time
We've created something special—a turtle made entirely from beach waste collected along Australian coastlines. It's a powerful reminder that not all materials can be recycled, and that real change requires action. Participate in a local beach cleanup to help make our waterways cleaner and safer. Together, we can reduce waste at the source and protect the environment we all share. Every choice matters—be part of the solution.
Have your say: name our turtle!
Thank you for helping us name our turtle! Submissions are now closed. Stay tuned to discover the winning name.
Make a pledge for our oceans
Every action counts. Everyone can make a difference. By recycling correctly, using the right bin, and choosing to reduce, repair, and reuse, we can help keep plastics out of the oceans.
Together, we can turn the tide on waste - so turtle, and future generations, can thrive in oceans free from pollution.
