As an organisation that engages over 7,000 suppliers annually, we are committed to sourcing ethical businesses that not only share our drive to improve the environment, but align with our pledge to prevent Modern Slavery in our industry.
Our ability to positively impact the supply chain on this matter is taken with the greatest responsibility, and we are very proud of our approach to ensure all of our operations are fair and in the best interest of people and the planet.
Veolia recognises that such an approach is an important part of our corporate responsibility and we will continue to review the steps we take. The VANZ 2020 Modern Slavery Statement outlines the steps we have taken to identify, manage and mitigate the risks of Modern Slavery in our operations and supply chain, aiming at achieving a ‘Modern Slavery Free’ environment.
In compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 and in line with Veolia’s purpose to contribute to human progress to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, we are pleased to announce we have reported our first Modern Slavery Statement to the Australian Border Force Register
