## Delivering ecological transformation **BECAUSE WE CARE** Throughout 2024 Veolia ANZ celebrated the first anniversary of our [**GreenUp strategic plan**](https://www.anz.veolia.com/greenup-strategy), along with a number of milestones which demonstrate our commitment to GreenUp, our customers, and local communities. Taking a particular focus on advancing towards net zero and growing our depollution capabilities, 2024 saw our **expansion into new markets** within energy and resource recovery, increased production of **energy from renewable sources**, and a **significant decrease in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions**. Our customers had many achievements of their own, embracing **innovative technologies** and pursuing their own **carbon reduction ambitions**, which we are grateful to have been a part of. We also proudly commemorated **10 years of dedication to our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)**, and the exciting launch of our **Future Forward** indigenous career development program. In this time we have established a number of specialised programs to help support marginalised groups within these communities such as our Future Forward and Kinship initiatives. In 2024, we celebrated the 10-year anniversary since Veolia's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) launch with our Indigenous suppliers, clients, community members, and RAP working groups.
